“Animal Farm” by C. Meloni

“Animal Farm” is a novel by George Orwell; it is an allegory of the Russian totalitarianism. In Manor Farm, the animals were exploited by Mr Jones and they dreamt of their ” freedom day ” without human interference. Led by the pigs, the animals organized themselves and with a violent riot they conquered the farm.
For a long time they lived following rules of equality. But the pigs became similar to Mr. Jones and the same that had organized the riot, became the new exploiters of the other animals, as the man did in the past.
In my opinion “Animal Farm ” was a good play, well performed by every actor. It was funny, but it could also be an opportunity for thinking of how power and totalitarianism can change people.
