As soon as we arrived in Spain we went to our hotel and the following morning at the circuit of Estoril, we helped the other guys of Ioda Racing Team to prepare our “hospitality”. During the other days in the morning we used to go from the hotel to the paddock for preparing the breakfast for pilots,sponsor,mechanics,photographers and journalists. Then we prepared the lunch,the snack,the appetizer and finally the dinner all in the kitchen of our “hospitality”. After the Sunday competition we took all the equipment down and the following morning we moved to Portugal by truck,accompanied by a wonderful natural landscape! After arriving in the evening in the new hotel,we went immediately to sleep,and the week was just like the previous one. At the end of the competition we took down the “hospitality” again and in the following morning we went to the airport for returning. The two weeks passed very fast,and this experience allowed me to know new people,including the team’s guys and some pilots (as Valentino Rossi,Casey Stoner..) and I got some autographs and photos with these idols of moto gp!
Questa esperienza si è rivelata per me fondamentale e devo ammettere che nonostante la fatica sono stato benissimo e mi sono divertito.
Appena arrivati in Spagna ci siamo recati al nostro punto d’alloggio, in un hotel a 4 stelle: la mattina seguente giunti a Jerez abbiamo aiutato gli altri ragazzi del team a montare il nostro l’hospitality. Una volta fatto questo, la giornata si svolgeva nel seguente modo: la mattina ci recavamo dall’hotel al paddock per preparare la colazione ai piloti, sponsor, fotografi e meccanici, poi si passava al pranzo, alla merenda nel pomeriggio, seguita da un aperitivo che accompagnava la cena, sempre nel nostro hospitality. Dopo la gara di domenica, abbiamo smontato tutto e la mattina seguente, con i camion, ci siamo spostati in Portogallo, accompagnati da uno stupendo paesaggio. Giunti la sera in hotel, sempre a 4 stelle, siamo subito andati a letto e la settimana si è svolta come quella in Spagna; finita la gara, sempre di domenica abbiamo di nuovo smontato l’hospitality e la mattina seguente ci siamo recati in aeroporto per il ritorno. Devo dire che queste due settimane sono trascorse piuttosto velocemente e avrei fatto volentieri altre tappe, inoltre quest’esperienza mi ha permesso di conoscere nuove persone fra cui i ragazzi del team, i piloti a cui ho “strappato” qualche foto ed autografo!
